Israeli forces massacre civilians at aid center in Rafah, Gaza

Israeli forces killed at least 30 civilians and injured over 150 near an aid distribution center in Rafah, Gaza. The number of Palestinian deaths in aid centers has risen to 39 in one week.

AhlulBayt News Agency: At least 30 Palestinians were killed and over 150 others injured on Sunday morning in a new massacre carried out by Israeli occupation forces near an aid distribution center west of Rafah, southern Gaza.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces opened fire on hundreds of civilians as they attempted to collect aid in the al-Mawasi area, resulting in at least 30 deaths and over 150 injuries.

The sources noted that the number of Palestinians killed at aid distribution sites has risen to 39, with more than 220 wounded in less than a week.

Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on the eastern areas of Khan Younis city, according to reports.

Additional sources confirmed that Israeli aircraft also carried out attacks on the northwestern part of Khan Younis.

Medical sources reported that Dr. Hamdi al-Najjar, the husband of Palestinian pediatrician Dr. Alaa al-Najjar—who previously lost her nine children in Israeli bombings—has succumbed to his injuries, now joining his children.

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery targeted the vicinity of Jabal Al-Sourani, east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.

Three civilians were injured on Saturday evening following a drone strike on a home in the town of Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip.

Later that evening, Israeli warplanes bombed a home belonging to the Rahim family west of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza.

The Israeli assault on Gaza, ongoing since October 2023, has resulted in at least 54,381 documented Palestinian fatalities and over 124,381 injuries.

Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to continued Israeli attacks.
